The JV purple softball team traveled to conference foe Hamilton Southeastern for their final game of the year. They left HSE with an 11-2 victory to finish the season with a fantastic 18-1 record.
Offensively freshman Kiersten Huff showed the way going 4-4 scoring four runs with three steals and two RBI. Junior Ciara Casteel also got into the action going 3-4 with a double, scoring three runs, had two steals and three RBI. Sophomores Lydia Twomey and Raegen Bucksot were 3-5 at the plate with Bucksot getting two RBI.
Sophomore Mallerie Gordon pitched a complete game allowing only four hits and one walk facing 28 batters in earning the win. It was a fantastic performance to end the year.
The JV purple team wants to thank all of the family, friends and fans that came out to support them in this successful season.
