The boys track and field team fell short to county rival Plainfield Tuesday night but defeated Mooresville with final scores 71-66.5-29.5. Devin Humes continued his winning streak with victories in both the shot and discus. Isaiah Craddick had a season best long jump of 20'5" for the win followed by Reis Thomas' personal best jump of 19'5" for second place. Marcus Fierek had another great night winning the 800 with at time of 2:00.97. This beats his personal best by 9 seconds! He also won the mile with at time of 4:39. Tyler Kirtz took first in the 400 meters, Elijah Wagner won the 3200 and the 4 x 800 team of Christian Hammerly, Levi Wilbur, Devon Boone, and Nate Bess edged out Plainfield for the win. The next meet will be the County meet on Tuesday at Danville High School. Go Dogs!
