Bulldogs Battle to Victory Over Franklin Central

Saturday afternoon the #21 ranked Brownsburg Bulldogs took on the #17 ranked Franklin Central Flashes. The Dogs defeated the Flashes in a hard fought battle 9-4. Senior, Elissa Brown and freshman, Olivia Calero split time in the circle, with Calero gaining the win for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldog offense put up a total of 13 hits in the seven innings played. Seniors, Kyleigh Vaught and Claire Flick both were able to produce for the Dogs, with Vaught going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs and Flick going 2 for 4 with a 3-run homer. Anna Carroll also had 3 hits for the Bulldogs and added 2 RBIs as well. Other Bulldogs who added a hit or 2 to the offense were, Sophie Bosket, Elissa Brown, and Hayley Huff.

The Bulldogs will finish up their regular season schedule this week with 3 more games weather permitting. All of these games will be played at the opposing team's home field. Go Dogs!
