The Bulldog Varsity Softball team fell to the Mooresville Pioneers in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night, 4-1. Freshman, Olivia Calero took the circle for the Bulldogs and had 5 strikeouts.

Offensively the Dogs struggled to get anything going with the bats. Senior, Kyleigh Vaught had a single run homer to tie the game up in the bottom of the second inning, but offense was unable to produce throughout the rest of the game.

The Bulldogs are back in action Thursday night at Ben Davis High School, and again Friday against McCutcheon at home, both games start at 5:30pm
