Bulldogs Grab Conference Win Over 'Rocks

The Bulldogs were back in action last night with a conference win against the Westfield Shamrocks. The winning pitcher for Brownsburg was Senior, Elissa Brown. Brown struck out two and allowed only 3 runs in her 5 innings pitched. Freshman, Olivia Calero came in as relief to close the game out and pitched the last two innings.

Offensively the Dogs were led by their three seniors. Claire Flick was 3 for 4 with a homerun and 2 RBIs. Elissa Brown and Kyleigh Vaught were both 2 for 3 and Brown added two RBIs as well. Also adding to the Bulldog offense was sophomore, Mackenzie Bedrick and Junior, Anna Carroll. The Bulldogs put up a total of 11 runs and ended up with their third straight win in conference.

The Bulldog softball team will be back in action against Mooresville Wednesday evening at 5:30 at their home field. Enjoy the lovely spring weather and come cheer your Bulldogs on to victory!
